We keep your uploaded data and everything produced from it for 30 days, then delete it automatically. You can delete any session, or your whole account and all its data, at any time.
While a run is happening
Your dataset goes into a container created for that run and nothing else. That container has no network access — no internet, no other machines, not even name resolution. The only thing that can reach it is you, signed in, through this product. Nobody else's run shares it.
When the run finishes we copy out the report, model, and predictions, and then destroy the container. If you chose to keep the session open, it is destroyed after an hour of inactivity.
How long things are kept
| The file you uploaded | 30 days, then deleted automatically. |
|---|---|
| Report, model, predictions | 30 days, then deleted automatically. |
| Your email address | Until you delete your account. |
Results are not kept longer than the data they came from. A report and a predictions file both contain your data, so keeping them past the shorter window would quietly break the promise above. The number on this page is the number the reaper enforces, and the app serves it at https://app.veox.ai/api/retention so you can check rather than trust.
Deleting things
Every session has a delete control, and your account settings have a "delete my account and all data" control. Both remove the stored bytes, not just the listing. Deletion is recorded so we can show it happened, but the record does not contain your data.
What we don't do
We do not train shared models on your data, sell it, or hand it to anyone else. Your dataset is used to produce your result and for nothing else. The search that runs against it is the same search that ships in the downloadable appliance, which never phones home at all.
We email you a sign-in link when you ask for one, and a notification when a run finishes. Those are part of using the product. Anything else — product news and the like — only if you ticked the box asking for it, and every one of those carries an unsubscribe link that works.
Running it where we can't see it
If none of the above is good enough for your data, that is a reasonable position and there is a build for it: jAIn runs entirely on your own hardware, air-gapped, with no telemetry. Nothing on this page applies to that deployment because nothing reaches us.
